Heir, Château de Laplanque

Guillaume Roques-Rogery

Guillaume is the heir of the Château de Laplanque. With his father Didier — a world-renowned wildlife consultant and professional hunter — he founded France Safaris on the family estate.

He has lived in hunting and conservation since boyhood, studied Nature Conservation in South Africa and New Caledonia for eight years, and has worked across the world as a wildlife consultant. He still travels — for wildlife, for surfing, and for motorbikes.

Host & Professional Hunter

Johan Herault

Johan is one of Guillaume's oldest friends, and your host at Laplanque. A lifelong hunter with the rare gift of sharing his passion without effort, he studied Nature Conservation and spent three years as a Professional Hunter in South Africa.

He was one of the first commercial professional hunters of roe deer in France. His knowledge of game and country is matched only by the size of his laugh.

Mountain Professional Hunter

Joffrey Fecomme

Joffrey comes from a long line of hunters. His grandfather pioneered professional hunting in the Central African Republic; his father has worked across Europe, Africa and Asia.

Today Joffrey is recognised as one of the leading mountain professional hunters working anywhere in the world. He guides in Asia, in Africa, and most often in the Alps and the Pyrenees. With him you will see the mountains as few people ever do.
